Overview

About the eyelid surgery

Blepharoplasty removes the excess skin and puffiness that make the eyes look tired or hooded. It is one of the highest-impact, lowest-downtime procedures we offer — a small change that lifts the whole face.

Upper lids, lower lids, or both can be addressed. Incisions hide in the natural crease of the lid and along the lash line, healing to near invisibility.

Is it for you?

You may be a good candidate if…

The only way to know for certain is an examination — but these are the signs we look for.

  • Hooded upper lids that make eyes look heavy or crowd your field of vision
  • Under-eye bags or puffiness that persist regardless of sleep
  • Healthy eyes and realistic expectations

What's involved

How the eyelid procedure works.

01
Assess

We map the exact skin and fat to address so the change is measured, not sweeping.

02
Refine

Excess skin is trimmed and fat is repositioned or reduced through hidden incisions.

03
Heal

Fine sutures are removed within a week; cool compresses speed the early swelling.

Recovery

An honest, week-by-week timeline.

You'll look great to everyone else weeks before you look final to yourself. Every patient leaves their pre-op visit with a written version of this plan.

Days 1–4

Swelling and light bruising; cool compresses and head elevation help.

Days 5–7

Sutures removed; most bruising covers with makeup.

Weeks 2–4

Looking rested and back to normal; fine lines of the incision fade.

FAQ

Eyelid Surgery — common questions.

Will I look surgically changed?
No — done conservatively, eyelid surgery reads as a good night's sleep, not an operation.
How do I find out if this is right for me?
The only way to know is a consultation. Your surgeon will examine you, review your history and goals, and tell you honestly whether the procedure fits — and when it doesn't. There is no pressure to book.
